Cosmetic and personal-care brands are built on botanical actives — for brightening, soothing, antioxidant protection, and hair care. CTA supplies a focused range of cosmetic-relevant botanical extracts, including some that are difficult to source at a controlled specification.

The cosmetic range includes brightening and skin-tone actives such as Licorice (glabridin) and Bakuchiol — the plant-derived retinol alternative; soothing and barrier actives such as Centella asiatica and Aloe vera; antioxidant actives such as Green tea and Grape seed; and traditional hair-care botanicals such as Amla, Shikakai (Acacia concinna), Henna and Soapnut.

Cosmetic-grade extracts are available as water-dispersible and oil-dispersible grades to suit different formulation bases, and CTA can develop custom actives against a brand's brief.
